Dyneema® is an innovative fiber that offers unique performance benefits across many different applications: it is fifteen times stronger than steel on a weight-for-weight basis, is light enough to float on water, and is extremely resistant to corrosion through temperature, light, and moisture. But despite its remarkable physical properties and impressive portfolio of use-cases, it faced tough competition from generic copycats and was falling behind in brand awareness.
Avient needed to relaunch Dyneema® in the market as an ingredient brand unparalleled in its performance by owning the attribute of strength. They also wanted to demonstrate the value Avient provides to customers at every stage of the product design process. As part of the relaunch, Avient needed to transform Dyneema®’s digital presence to reflect the new brand and echo the brand story, providing a modern, innovative, and compelling digital experience.
We built a modern, content-rich website experience on Umbraco, reflecting the new brand vision and providing a flexible component-based CMS to ensure Dyneema® could continue storytelling as the fiber continues to innovate across emerging markets.
