After a two-way competitive pitch, True has been appointed to implement British Corner Shop’s social media activity.

The initial focus will be on utilising Facebook and Twitter channels to drive revenue, whilst creating and implementing engagement-focused campaigns to support the wider social activity and capture valuable email data.

Longer term, True envisages working even more closely with British Corner Shop, becoming an extension of the team and a genuine digital partner. This could grow to cover user testing, which would sit well against British Corner Shop’s commitment to giving their customers the best possible experience, whilst True could add further value in digital design and creative services.

British Corner Shop have recently rebranded with a new website, set to launch soon. It is a truly exciting time to be involved with one of the leading lights in exporting to British expats. They have gone from strength to strength in recent years, becoming the go-to place (online) for British expats, stocking a huge range of over 10,000 products. Last year they delivered well over four million products and their delivery network covered over 138 countries.

Since the launch of the Facebook and Twitter activity, we have seen great results driving strong ROI for the business. We are consistently learning, then optimising activity, and the results have been even better than expected.
