The power of video for B2B

- true team

According to Google research, 72% of B2B buyers and researchers are watching videos to help them make their buying decisions.

Video has the power to help tell the story of your business in full technicolour. It strengthens trust and evokes human emotions while delivering a brand’s message or purpose. It’s predicted that, by 2020, 82% of consumer Internet traffic will be video.

Last year, our video production team were tasked with telling the story of npower’s business Super Powers competition – and showcasing the winner’s story. Ollie Ware directed and produced the shoot.

“The key is to plan the story you need to tell and make sure it’s worth watching. Obviously the content needs to be valuable and engaging for our business audience, but the production values speak volumes about npower too. We want businesses to know that they’re in expert hands and will be looked after when they choose npower. The Moovan’s shoot had to explain the competition, the judging criteria and why Moovans were worthy winners in a way that keep the viewer interested throughout.”

Our video was featured across the media, including the Daily Mirror who partnered with npower in the competition. You can watch it here.

Video content is right at the heart of True’s content strategy for npower business, helping us deliver insight, advice and support to busy people running small businesses in an engaging, accessible way.
