Launching #FromHome2TheGames
As a big British summer of sport begins, we're proud to launch our latest work for UK Sport. #FromHome2TheGames is a collaborative campaign with Team GB and Paralympics GB to find and recruit the next generation of Olympic and Paralympic stars.
Officially launched yesterday at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the #FromHome2TheGames campaign has been designed to engage and encourage young people from all communities in the UK to explore their possibilities in Olympic and Paralympic sports.
true were engaged by UK Sport to shape the campaign concept, deliver the communications and media strategy, and build the digital platform that's now enabling young sportspeople to apply for the programme and submit test results online - a first for the talent identification programme.
By telling the human stories behind sporting superstars like Adam Peaty, Kadeena Cox, Bianca Walkden and local Bristolian hero Tegan Vincent-Cooke, we've hoped to show an inclusive vision of sporting success that young people from diverse backgrounds can relate to.
It's a project we've been incredibly proud to be involved with and we couldn't be more excited to see the response it's already generating across social media and national press.
Here's a snapshot of some of the the campaign assets we've been working on.
With further campaign activations planned right through the Tokyo games, we hope it encourages young athletes from all over the country to visit www.fromhome2thegames.com and give it a shot.
In the words of Adam Peaty, 'What have you got to lose?'
